Allison Barbara

RFRBSH is the studio of Allison Barbara, an interior stylist working in staging, design and decor, and virtual styling.

I studied graphic design before moving into business school and then marketing, and I spent the last decade marketing real estate in Toronto. Over the past eight years the work moved steadily toward preparing and elevating properties for market, and when the team brought staging in house I took it on end to end: planning, budgeting, sourcing, buying furniture and decor, space planning, physically staging homes, styling, and overseeing the photography.

That meant working inside hundreds of homes, each with its own layout, architecture, budget and taste. Rather than bringing one prescribed look to every project, I learned to read a room quickly: what works, what does not, what should stay, what should go, and which relatively small changes make the biggest difference to how a space functions and feels.

The work now runs past staging into residential styling, renovation guidance, sourcing, virtual design and implementation.
